John Rice has been a licensed funeral director for 30 years. In addition, he spent over 20 years teaching and serving as president of several prominent colleges of mortuary science.

John realized a long-time dream to own his own funeral home in 2003 when he purchased a funeral home in Genoa, Nebraska.

John and his wife, Elta, a special education teacher, have two daughters, Jennifer and Heather.
